CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS ALL DECEMBER!
You’re invited to celebrate the Advent & Christmas season with us! Each week you will experience a welcoming atmosphere and a message of hope. On Dec. 1, 8, 15, and 22, we, as a church family, will talk about the message of the Christmas story. These messages align with the Advent Blocks, which helps us see this story throughout the whole Bible. It means what you are reading at home, matches with what’s being preached on the weekends. Don’t worry though even if you aren’t using the Advent Blocks, you’ll still be able to understand and enjoy each message. This is part of our vision as a church to make disciples and intentionally connect families and generations together for the glory of God!

Our celebration culminates with Christmas at Westside! You’ll experience a welcoming atmosphere, inspiring worship, and powerful message of hope. Overall, the service lasts approximately 75 minutes.
Come early to enjoy Christmas cookies, hot cocoa, hot tea, or coffee in the lobby.
Arriving early also gives you some time to check-in your kids aged 0-11. You can rest assured your children will be loved and taken care of in a clean, safe, and fun environment designed just for them. If you want your children with you in the main service, we have a Family Room that you can use should your children need some extra space. The Family Room has a TV with the live audio & video stream of the service, so you won’t miss anything happening in the service.

Don’t worry, we’ve got this. Christmas at Westside is designed for the whole family. There’s lots of fun to be had at Westside Kids where every week, our leaders pour into the next generation — raising up world-changers who love God! Westside Kids will be happening during the service..

How Advent Blocks Work
This Christmas season, we’re excited to offer Advent Blocks as a meaningful way to engage in the countdown to Christmas. These beautifully crafted wooden blocks feature an inspiring Scripture verse and image for each day of Advent, leading you through a journey of reflection, prayer, and anticipation as we prepare for the celebration of Christ’s birth. Each block is designed to be used day by day, helping create a simple, tactile tradition that brings the focus back to the true meaning of Christmas. Whether displayed on a mantle or in a special place in your home, the Advent Blocks provide a wonderful opportunity to slow down and connect with the season in a deeper way, fostering spiritual growth.
Line Up The Advent Blocks
Set all the blocks in line 1—25, then put the Star Block on top of the number 1 and the Earth Block on top of number 25.
Turn The Block And Move The Star
Each day you read a story and turn the number block to reveal an image that corresponds with the day’s story. Move the Star Block one step closer to the Earth Block: God is coming to earth to stay.
The Big Reveal!
On Christmas Eve, turn the blocks one more time to reveal the special message: EMMANUEL, GOD WITH US!

Do I Have to be Part of Westside to Attend?
No, everyone is welcome! Come as you are and celebrate Christmas with us.
No matter your background, your current situation, or how close or far from God you feel, we’re excited to help you feel welcome the moment you step through our doors.
What Should I Expect During the Service?
Our service begins with worship lasting about 20 minutes followed by a Biblical message 30 to 40 minutes long. Overall the service lasts approximately 75 minutes.
What Time Should I Arrive?
We expect that our Christmas service will be busy and suggest you arrive at least 15 minutes early to get your kids checked in and to locate a seat. Doors will open approximately 30 minutes before the service begins.
To avoid overcrowding in the lobby, we recommend you arrive no more than 30 minutes ahead of time.
What Should I Wear?
You won’t feel out of place whether you’re wearing jeans, a jacket and tie, or a dress. So just wear whatever makes you feel comfortable!
What Do You Have for Kids?
We have age-appropriate ministries for kids aged 0-11. Our team will help you get your children registered in our secure system.
Kids’ rooms will open approximately 15 minutes before the service begins, but check-in will open prior to that.
If you want your children with you in the main service, we have a Family Room that you can use should your children need some extra space. The Family Room has a TV with the live audio & video stream of the service so you won’t miss anything happening in the service.
Where Do I Park?
We have plenty of parking. Finding a space won’t be difficult.
